Meet Thomas
Thomas Still was born in Jacksonville, Florida, and raised in the small town of Hilliard, located on the Florida/Georgia border. He and his wife, Stephanie, have three children—Michaela, Amber, and Aidan—and one granddaughter, little Summer.
Thomas’s first job was at Walmart, working part-time as a pet food stocker. He later joined the U.S. Army, serving as a firefighter. After his military service, he returned to Walmart, where he currently serves as the Asset Protection Operations Manager for Walmart’s Savannah and Statesboro supply chain facilities.
Although Thomas has never danced seriously and jokingly describes himself as a “brick wall with two left feet,” he is committed to Safe Haven’s mission and has embraced this challenge in support of the community.
Meet Cassie
Cassie Thomas is the proud owner of Spotlight Dance Academy in Millen, Georgia, which she has led with passion and dedication since 2014. A lifelong dancer, Cassie began her dance journey at the age of five at the Kaye H. Miller School of Dance, where she trained for 13 years and spent seven of those years assisting in classes, nurturing her love for teaching.
Beyond the studio, Cassie is a devoted wife and proud mother of two. When she isn’t sharing her love of dance with her students, she enjoys spending time with her family and relaxing by the beach, where she finds both peace and inspiration.
